I work with a chappy here and his phase 1 was at 202,000 miles and only gave up as the aux belt snaped !!! doh !!! Would be good for loads more miles if its looked after right... Buy itttttttttt, if not let me know where it is, i'll buy it.... ;)

Could be something to do with "comfort features" !!! or Aircon, not very relevant to the Cup though, the only other option I could see would be an open circuit somewhere on the lights maybe or something daft like that.... Sounds daft but may be worth a shot ....

Apparantly its "body" related hence the "b" not sure as to what though it could be. Clear it off and drive for a few miles and see if it returns would be my advice. Cheers Lee

Battery is always a good starting point with odd electrics, especially if its been fitted over 3 yrs... No, them code readers are rubbish, i had one and it would read sh1t.... it told me there was no codes, plugged in a "clip" from renault and there was loads !!! bought the fastchip device of...

Try new battery first if you haven't already then yes, get a good diagnostic reader to show the faults, Henks fastchip is very thorough...

Check the wiring from the fusebox to the ecu, the wires rot, you need to test each and every wire with a circuit tester also check for any bad earth's.... If its not any of the above i will eat my ar5ehole.....

They changed the box apparantly after build week 48 I think which was around 57 plate.... I think....

Sounds like a 197 Full Fat would do, just be carful with the earlier ones as the mpg is absolutley ridiculous.... I struggled to get more than 26mpg out of my R27 and that was mainly motorway driving too !!! Good Luck though and welcome to the forum... Cheers Lee
