Hmm, that's an interesting theory and something I had also considered, but knew nothing about ... how would that explain both boxes going in similar ways though, hmm ...
Afraid so mate ... I got a replacement box back in September I think it was, but it lasted about 100 miles :( I could understand if I was some chav wheel spinning out of corners.
Think I'm going to getting your old one refurb'd you'll be pleased to know :)
Might have to put it up for sale...
Ello,
I'm trying to find someone to recondition the gearbox from my Williams 2, I'm based in the Midlands area and wondered if anyone had any experience or recommendations.
I've done a search but couldn't find much.
I've tried to contact Fred but haven't had any luck so far.
Cheers
:D Thanks mate ... I think! ;)
I owe a lot to the previous owner for looking after it well, shame I've not got a garage to tuck it up inside during the winter.
A few pics of my Willy after a quick spruce up today, I don't use her much as she's just a weekend fun car, I've only done 500 miles or so this year. But after a quick drive today I'm going to attempt to use it more often, it's so much bloody fun :D
Shame the sun had gone in, and I only had...

Yeah I've got a few piccys.
As your a local lad I'd be interested in seeing what yours is like as I've never been in one with the standard setup, and vica-versa i guess. Can meet up to compare sometime if you fancy it?

Cheers for your interest but as davebem...
