Is it just me or when describing us removing the engine weight the attached picture just makes it look like we've removed the engine mount haha. And the less said about carbon canister removal the better I think. Although a picture of my mums face when I suggested doin my own stitches with some...
The bolts are there for a reason, rivets just won't hold it due to the multiple curves. Tbh a few bolts in the back window are the least of our worries when there's a big slash in the bonnet, a crease all down the drivers side and number plates which say shed, if you haven't guessed from the...
Slider done today keeping with the ghetto theme it looks home made like it should on this car lol
And tidied up the insides of the doors with some edging tape stuff??
Couple of little updates, Removed battery and relocated ecu. Run a power cable through the car and put the battery in a box in the boot. I also repositioned the airbox to eliminate the 90 degree bend, but i forgot to take a pic of that.
Nothing on the car is unsafe, i've made sure of this lol. But yeah i know what you mean theres not a lot to keep it rigid. I'll just let ash or kev crash it :rasp:

Made a strut brace for the rear which i'm quite pleased with.
(Don't know whether its best to put harnesses to this or bolt to the floor though so expert...
I have left the original locks in the doors if you look they are the bits sticking out, you open them by pulling on the wire for now but going to sort this out when the big stuff is finished.

Few updates,
All polycarb except rear screen have been fitted, Door skins removed, old rubbish tyres have been removed and the alloys have been primered. Just need to spray in some wacky colour now and get the 888's fitted. Then i gotta fit the braided brake lines. And next big job is cage...
