    Aircon removal

I am currently removing the aircon from the track shed, the system is dry there is no pressure at all in it. I am wondering can i just get some tin snips and cut the pipes at either end and rip the lot out? Obviously the pump will still go round but it just won't do anything. Will it be ok...
