Just doubled checked and: Ignition off = 12.6v. Ignition on (dash lights displayed) = 9.6v. Heater won't come on. Xenons won't even light with ignition off. Sidelights take it from 12.6v to 10.4v. Buzzing from left of the Air Filter housing, and ticking / clicking...
I'd be pleased if it was just a Battery. I'm taking it back tmrw and (hopefully) getting a replacement one because it had a 3yr warranty. I guess if it has dead cell(s) then it's well down on cranking amps ?
Any ideas on the UCH / ECU if it's not the Battery? Anyone know which fails more often...

Went to the Supercar day on Sunday and it was fantastic. Much better than I thought it would be. Great roads to get there and pretty cool with Astons, Gallardo's, Ferrari's and GT3's driving in the same convoy.

Are the Ballasts under the Headlights ? Is a suitable Ballast replacement from Hids direct like the Hella one for £73 ? Or are there any cheaper Ballasts out there ?

My drivers Xenon works intermittently. Always comes on, but turns off after a random amount of time driving. I assume it's a wiring or ballast issue ? (Is ignitor is fine becaue it does come on everytime ?).

I have a slight ticking sound too, but only when the engine is warmed up. From reading dozens of posts on here, mine is almost definately the dephaser pulley. If / when it gets worse, people describe it sounding like a diesel or a tractor. I dont think that would be related to the rev issue...
Update - Took throttle body apart and cleaned it, and took all connectors apart and WD40'd them.
Put back together, and so far so good. 3 days of no issues.
Thanks. Did a search before I posted. Came up with anything from a wet throttle body, faulty throttle peddle, possible throttle peddle wiring problem, throttle position sensor etc.
We'll check that lot today, but I posted the Q to see if there are any other common faults that can cause this...

I want the JL 10" WO pack, which comes with a sealed non ported box. Would you think thats a major sound disadvantage because it's not ported ? I tried some online calculators but i'm a bit lost tbh. Some of the fields on the calculator aren't even listed in the sub...
