Tried Candy Red, didmt turn out too bad :)

candy red is a nice colour but i dont think it suits those wheels. I hate to say it spinksy but i think gold looks the best so far

Yeah i agree bud, love the red but it would probs suit some big Rotiforms better. Im not even keen on the colour gold but it does suit your current wheels well :)

Guilty

Ahwell. It looks so good, Altho mine has a half inch square cutout to attach my front number plate. The rest is smoothed
Just need a beasty intercooler to hide behind the lower grill

Fitting side skirts to mine aswell ;)

Haha I thought about detachable brackets but I don't know how wobbly they would be. Hence me putting a half inch cutout where the old number plate area ended , just enough to put 2 screws in the top corners of my plate.m

Haha will do dude :D , Altho my aim is to do it just before CSS so it's all minty fresh again :D

hoping to have mine done by mid april at the latest, though 99% will be done by next friday hopefully ;) and pretty clever idea with the cutout tbh mate, but I want to be able to take the plate off at shows etc

Car looks s**t m8.
Just f**king ;) That bumper is really spinning me out though lol

:p love ya

DSC_1109_zps52d08153.jpg

just gotta finish the bullets (gold), door pulls (black) and rear bumper insert (gold)

:)

then once the bumper arrives and I order some matte black wrap before the end of the month the car will be finished (looks-wise at least) ;)

Don't do it, it'll just look tacky...

Dont over do it again! I thought you had learnt you lesson, keep it simple or you'll have many haters just like when you had an obsession with green details. Have to say spinks im not a fan of the angel eyes either look to chavvy but each to their own.

It needs a bl**dy good detail as well. Get rid of them scratches by the clio badge.

I'm gunna give it a try, see what it looks like :)

I have plenty of paint left in both colours so can just paint it black if it doesn't look good

I need to re-paint the rear bumper to remove some chips and stress marks from where someone has bumped the rear bumper at slow speed (you can only see the marks up close) :dapprove: so I can just paint the insert at the same time if I don't like it but at current it is green so needs painting either way mate

I have done some bits the same colour as the car tbf and I am doing less gold than I did green...

if you look at the pics mate, it is simple with the gold so far :)

and the angel eyes are marmite for alot of people but I like them, and I think they are going to look amazing with the smoothed bumper once it arrives

oh and its gunna have a full detail once it is finished mate

Obviously my opinion differs from yours, but I think this is one of the worse Clio's I've seen. Some look funny with silly body kits etc, but this has a certain look to it. Just looks.. Cheap/tacky. Not my cuppa' tea I'm afraid.

Oh, that reminds me, I need to see about making up new blanking plates to make the Ph.1 dual optics legal for HIDs

Do it! then sell the kits on here ;)

alright....

not one to tell someone there opinion is wrong but I can't say yours is right tbqh

Think the insert on the rear bumper will take it too far, we'll see about that wont we. Oh good! I started the engine work on mine tonight, big job on!

I've looked at angel eyes. Mainly as they could be cheaper than xenons. Any chchance of a close up pick? I've seen some thay
look blingy but yours don't. Like the update but leave the bumper insert. Matte black it!

might do with the wrap ;)

and no upclose pics atm, but I will get some tomorrow morning for you and stick them in here

edit: they aren't the blingy type though, they are just simple black insert lights with the angel eyes, and xenon/projector kinda things for the main beam

now for me:

just to show a few bits up close and show the interior handles (despite the door pulls still needing to go black)

Centre of that diamond looks dodgy in that picture hahaha!

hate those angel eyes, tacky as hell with those silver bits

Defo loose that green. Was the grab handle hard to paint? I like those lights. I've seen ALOT worse. Hopefully if I can get a good deal on something similar ill go for it

that is going lol, its going black (same colour black as the car), its one of the last remnants of green atm, that and the calipers, the rest is completely gone ;)

and the door pull? both handles were easy tbh... seperate the pull bit of the handle from the rear bit to paint those bits, and the door pull just plastic prime and paint as normal :)

and They are by far the best angel eyes for clio's I have seen tbh

Are you blind?

no, just comparing surface areas and there is more black than there is silver... and you barely see the silver when looking dircetly at the lights.
