Clios @ Castle Combe Spring Performance Action Day

Unusually hot and sunny at Castle Combe today for the Spring Action Day. It was pretty busy, something like 1500 cars on display, but of everything my cars of the day had to be the Skoda Yetis out in the track sessions, awesome.

he didnt go out, was a mix up with tickets so decided to pax with me instead, the gearbox gave up on mine, minced 4th gear so came off. tried limping home then lost 5th 3rd and 2nd rather quickly on the m4, spent 3 hrs waiting for a flatbed to get me home lol already started stripping bits out to drop the spare box in

i know, was waiting for it to happen tbh. im tempted to either slap the spare box in and use it for the summer and then strip it or just go all out now with an engine freshen up, its on nearly 100k of abuse

3 laps seems to be a standard I have set in sc clios. Bedford rs day in a few weeks I'll be taking it out properly again. Coombe just makes me nervous for some reason.
