Starting to like the MK3 197

Well with the spoiler and the big zorsts im really really starting to feela soft spot coming on for the 197 especially the interior.

mk2 ph 2 is the best though. Have never been a fan of the mk2 ph1 172 though.



And at the same time. Im really starting to think how cheap the mk1's look. even the willy's. Just going right off them and the only mk1's i like now are those that are totally mint and origional.

What is wrong w2iht me lol./.

As you said with spolier and new zorsts looks good but if you start liking them without those mods yes you are gay and retarded. :rasp:

probably the fact that it needs 6 gears and is a totally differnt car and as has been said before is a lower, or feels it...... the 172 and 182 are just diddy and fun and fast and just generally great.

Without the mods its just plain stupid !!! but with the mods its a beautiful thing. really like them now tbh.

it goes well and looks even better...
rs tuning remap,full milltek 2.5" system with secondary cat removed,itg filter,30mm drop,25mm spacers and spoiler.

I'll be doing the same with my 197, just waiting for a k-tec remap and itg maxogen kit with ktr exhaust and sports cat.

IMO the mk2 is the best and most fun. but the 197 is so much more refined and more modern. With some springs to deck it, the correct exhaust and performance mods and itll be a perfect bit of kit.

Btw i did say the 1*2 was my favorite. and it also feels faster from what i hear. I just like the 197 MORE than i did. The interior and exterior is so much nicer.

The R27 is a gorgeous looking car with equal tuning potential as the 17/82's and is far better built. I don't see the problem?

Before people harp on about "You don't own a 1*2", you're right but I own a Clio which at the end of the day still drives the same albeit slower. Point being, would I buy a 1*2 over a 197 at this point in time or in the future? No. Fantastic cars but I'd be going no-where but being a couple of seconds quicker to 100.

They're kept inside at night, drove out in the day. Well they were last time I was down. 100% trust the bloke so I know it's in good hands.
