Vtec kicked in

Drove past this today just outside malton on my way to the Yorkshire modified car show at Pickering. Looks like the driver gave it some beans off the roundabout but binned it. The rozzers were just turning up.

I have a round about near me, claims a car a week.. There's always a boot poking out from the ditch, they've started putting traffic cones on the approach.. The best was an escort that ripped its rear beam clean off..

It's lower earley where the old supercharged Clio v6 went speeding at about 60 past a primary school..

Vtec surely isn't as big a kick as a turbo coming on boost, and I find mine easily controllable as well as every other turbo car that I have drove.

i was making the point that both cars are fairly similar in terms of total torque. torque curve however is a tad different.
Saying that, no-one who buys a 172/ep3 is getting one for the masses of torque.
