Transferring Contacts from Old iPhone to New iPhone on a PC?

Posted this in the iPhone 4 thread but it's pretty busy with people shouting about UPS/TNT atm so thought would be better idea to make a new thread just incase other have the same problem.

Mum has got her iPhone 4, she is trying to move contacts between 3G and 4 on a PC.

It auto synced it with outlook but because she used that as her main email program it wants to transfer all the people shes ever emailed as well and it wont let her select certain people. What is the best way for her to get just the contacts from 3G, onto pc then just those onto 4? Or is there a way by sim?

I'm a mac so can't remember from when I used to use PC...

Huh why would she not want all the people she emails? Mines synced with windows contacts i think

Well they all show up in her address book on phone as well, she won't email from phone so she just wants the people she calls and texts on it.

Is windows contacts on system already or would she have to download something?

She tried syncing with just windows address book as that doesn't have her outlook contacts in and is currently empty but she said it wont let her sync with just address book.

Put the phone contacts in a subfolder in outlook and just sync that one.
