Brake fluid etc

Hi guys
My stop and handbrake light keep flashing on and off (usually when going up and incline or under hard acceleration) which according to most on here means the brake fluid level is dipping below then sensor etc etc! I have seen where it is but the last person who worked on my car tightened the bolts on my engine cover up way too tightly for me to undo with hand tools so how much would it cost for a garage to change the fluid? (I know how much pads are to get done as that is also a related issue with this problem!)

Depends where you take it mate but probably between 30-60 quid, small garage-dealers. If you have the time its easy to do yourself.. id have thought the threads would have stripped before the engine cover bolts become too tight to undo with hand tools!

By hand tools I literally mean a small Allan key screw driver type thing not a wrench or anything haha I don't possess that kind of equipment & I'd prefer to do it myself obviously but if I canny get the bolts undone it will be garage work!!!

Why would you undo the engine cover, cant you reach the reservoir with the cover on it?
