Right iv cracked my oil sump and have to get it changed. I would do it myself but have been told by some that either subframe needs to be dropped or engine has to be lifted.
Could anyone please tell me what has to be done as iv been told now that the sump will come straight out
Right I took my bottom dash out and connected everything back up but this connector. Does anyone know what goes into it or have a pic of it. Its attached to the glove box at the back. Thanks

Well since iv had it a few weeks after buying it from matt on here iv decided to put up a few pics. Gave it a right gd clean today but due to starting work at 3 I was unable to give it a going over with the clay bar but here it is

Right peeps need some wisdom. When driving and accelerate to about 1500rpm the engine starts to make a grinding noise from the top end and just bogs down until it goes back under 1500rpm. Any ideas what this could be
Right at this Moment in time I have the pulley off and the 3 bolts holding in the pump off but the pump just moves back and forward. It won't come out at all any help would be great.
This has been going on a bit now but tonight it just would start straight after I switched off the engine. Usually to get it started I would move the gearstick about a bit and it would start, but tonight nothing. Could this be low gearbox oil crank sensor or the starter being a bit loose
After a lot of hassle with the circlip iv decided to replace it and weld it in place. What my mate wants to know is what material is he welding with ie casing circlip and the slit where it goes into. Thanks guys
Right I'm looking for the wee bit that joins the selector to the linkage. It's held on by a 13mm screw looking for the bush and the wee tube. Gear stick has a lot of play and I think this is the cause of it
Right tonight I put it in first and accelerated away got to about 10mph then the car just revved. So I pull over and try again car goes into all gears but won't move the speedo goes up as if the car is moving. Anyone help me. First thought is driveshaft has popped out. It's a ph1 172
Right when starting the car ffrom cold it runs ok then it starts to rev really high at 3000rpm iv changed the oil breather sensor and still does it. All pipes are connected. Does anyone have any idea what the pproblem could be cause this is costing a small fortune with petrol and is Embaressing...
Looking to find out the diameter of the fuel pipe from the rail to the join under the drivers side. It's the one that leads into the left side of the rail. Thanks
