I too have used luke warm water for about 12 years, even on chipped windscreens. Never had one crack.. it b****cks made up by the companies that sell de-icer, its useless s**t!!
I have had 3 Clio's, two 182's and a T. The Civic is a better all round car, and feels much more grown up. The Clio is more fun.
I wouldn't go back to the Clio now, Roy speaks sense, the Honda engine and box is in a different league.
What are them stickers all about? cheap cone filter, cracked tyres, knackered window , no belts, mileage which seems suspicious, is there any service history?

Think cambelt KIT and Aux KIT are circa £300 in parts, Maybe more if you want the dephaser doing, which you will probably will , so make sure you budget for the work.

+1 - That's not 182 money really. Have you considered a car auction ? @ BCA 182's generally fetch around 2k , obviously you would be taking a risk though, and would need to budget for cambelt etc

I Have had VM out numerous times now , even the engineer stated that there nothing but problems, I have a current MD complaint, and they are apparently trying to sort out the problems for me.
Mines in modem mode, but it seems to lose all signal pretty frequently, download speeds...
I think that's the washer bottle, but I thought it was only when you sprayed the windscreen, something to do with ''s**t'' building up in the bottom of it.

Well it maybe something to do with the aircon then? Although I have never known them to smell of horse s**t. Are you sure no ones inserted a ''nugget'' when you weren't looking?
