can anyone help i have a 2002 ,172 i started getting a knock from what seemed like the underside of the car when pulling away and the same noise when braking . i have had the dog bone changed and at first the noise semmed to have gone away 4 days later the noise has changed to a creaking sound ...
just noticed a metallic click coming from underside of car happens mostly after hard braking just before car comes to a stop and it happens again just as you pull away could it be the bushes in the gearbox steady bar? any ideas
my 172 has started to be a little difficult to start from cold and for the first half mile or so hesitates when the thorttle is opend but it is fine when warm any ideas out there
the rain sensative wiper operation seems to have packed up all i get now is a singel wipe every few seconds when the wiper switch is on the first setting i cannot adjust the speed the light sensor works ok anyone else had this problem
over the last few days the outside air temperature sensor thinks summer has come early at present its about minus 2 outside and the dash reading is 17degrees anybody else had this problem and how do you fix it
Just been out in my mk2 172 today pulled away from lights a bit sharpish on greasy road heard a knocking from front n/s first thought was drive shaft but it only does it if the wheel loses traction if i pull away a little more gently then gun the throttle no noise any suggestions
