Considering buying this is a daily so i can take my own car off the road. Fuel bills getting a bit ridiculous lol
What im wondering is,is this silver the same as the 182 as id like to buy a 182 kit for it as it looks f**king terrible!!!
Anyone know if its the same? Not worth doing if id need...

I tried so,ething I saw on another page,ignition on for 30 seconds,turn it off and leave key in ignition for 30'seconds,then start,and it has started fine now?
Also noticed the immobiliser light on the dash is staying solid
If I turn the key to on and try start it straight away the car will crank for a few seconds but not start,but if I wait say 2 seconds after turning the key to the on position it won't even try crank at all.
Bumping this up.
Cars now doing it again.
4 beeps when I lock the car,then cranking over for a few seconds but won't start.
Tried resyncing the key but can't get it to enter programming mode?
I don't think it's particularly relevant aslong as they're looked after,serviced properly with quality stuff and not bounced off the limiter all the time.
That's ridiculous power,will shock a lot of performance cars! Looks amazing,saw a lot of talk about them but that's the first time I've saw proper pictures of one up close etc. Very nice :)
A tuning box will not gain 60-70bhp,unless it's something different to the conventional tuning box which I'm thinking of? You'd be lucky if they added 5bhp lol.
Small thread hijack lol...is pressing auto the only way you can turn it on? That's how it is in mine,if it's turned off you can't just press the fan buttons to turn them on etc it has to be the auto button??

I fitted a gearbox to my car and just got it running again today.
First turnof the key it started,ran for about a second then cut out,bit odd I thought but drove on anyway thinking maybe it was because it hadn't been used in a month or so.

Got them out this morning just by breaking the brackets out as suggested,thanks for the tip! Can't believe I didn't think of it to be honest lol but thought they'd be a bit more robust than they are.

Go to Renault if you can get down,they will have a master set of lock nuts and if you get the right guy they mightened even charge you
The halfords set probably won't work with that type of lock nut but I've no experience of using it so can't say for certain,in my old work we just beat sockets...

How have people solved this problem in the past?
Both front bolts are spinning on my 182
Tried using a pry at on the washer to try push the bolt down whilst hitting it with the gun and also tried a pry at between the subframe and the chassis,no luck.
It feels as thought I wouldn't be...
Surely this rack connection should spin independently of the pipe?

the one I took off is also solid and only turns with the pipe but there's no way that could be right,it's nearly impossible to fit it in that case...

looking a bit of advice for re fitting the big power steering pipe which leaves the rack and goes the whole way around to the pump at the front of the engine,it's an 04 182 if that makes any difference.

I presume you were replacing it,or at least are doing so now?
problem with beating it while it's still on the car is that it'll just bounce back through the cv boot if you know what I mean.
As above,soak it in wd40 for the night or vinegar,try again tomorrow or take it all out and it should be...
Ah I see,thought something along those lines as my old s13 didn't have full beam either.

does the 182 come with full xenon kits or just dipped lights? Can you get full beam kits for them?
i have the dip beam xenons but was wondering had the full beam bulbs been changed or are they only supposed to be for dip beam...

Yea I know mate,n/a tuning is pissing in the wind,just looking something decent and reputable. I know the usual makes in honda land etx just havent a clue what is considered decent when it comes to these.
