Fitting power steering pipe help!!!

  Clio 182,vvc metro
Hi,

looking a bit of advice for re fitting the big power steering pipe which leaves the rack and goes the whole way around to the pump at the front of the engine,it's an 04 182 if that makes any difference.

by the look of things the easiest way of fitting it is by putting it through the passenger wheel arch side and then routing it the specific ways, would that be right or how have other people done it?

also, where it screws I to the rack it's a solid nut? (Genuine Renault part so standard unions etc) so to screw that part in you have to turn the full pipe? But you have to route it first and then it can't be twisted?

what the f**k! Lol.

i presume it's normally a drop the subframe job if you go to Renault but I'm doing it on the ground at home so it's been a complete nightmare

Any help would be great,thanks

Surely this rack connection should spin independently of the pipe?

i
the one I took off is also solid and only turns with the pipe but there's no way that could be right,it's nearly impossible to fit it in that case...
