I also have a mk3 1.4 and mine does this whine, good to hear the induction kit sorts this though and there is no problem with my car :D

Has anyone had this done with a mk3 clio?

If your petrol cap is like mine and will not open the odds are your solenoid is not operating correctly. It took me many hours of research and throwing my arm up in places to finally find how to release it, however this should only be a temporary fix and a new solenoid will probably be required...

I have wind deflectors on my black clio mk3 and I love the way they look/ practical advantages. Only downside is the chav branding that comes with them lol
