For the first few hundred miles it wont brake very sharply till they've bedded in!
Your supposed to avoid braking for prolonged periods and use gentle braking for the first few hundred miles.
if your replacing discs you should replace the pads too. Its pretty easy, just take your time and make sure you put it all back together properly.
They look genuine, they are the same ones i fitted, thats a really good price mate.

Fact: There are heat soak issues with open filters, having an open filter fitted doesnt make you a cnut.
Could be a wishbone bush. I replaced one on my girlfriends KA sport because it was creaking when she turned at low speed and now it makes no noise at all.
Fit it all properly, your engine management light isnt guaranteed to come on anyway. However, if it does buy yourself a code reader off ebay (£20 inc delivery iirc) and clear the fault. Thats what i did and the light hasnt been back on since.
The only problem is if the quality is poop. See if there are any wheels finished that you can look at to get an idea of the quality your £140 will afford!
