Wheel Refurbs

  Tango'd PB 1.2 16V
New to this sorta thing to be honest, been quoted £140 for 4 x 16" Clio Sport 172 Alloys, and finished in black.
Am i getting my pants pulled down for that, or is that fairly good?
+ does anyone know anyone cheaper/willing to do them around chesterfield/sheffield?
Cheers.

The only problem is if the quality is poop. See if there are any wheels finished that you can look at to get an idea of the quality your £140 will afford!

Cheers lads.
The place that quoted me is a tyre specialist in my town, and they've sold me all my tyres and done any wheel work i need; pretty good job too.
Just thought i'd ask about wheel refurbs and they said that.
We'll see come payday. ;)

Paint or powdercoat?

Powdercoating gives the most durable finish - can easily cost £250 to £300 if they do everything (i.e. you drive in and they remove the tyres, refurb the rims, then powdercoat. Although some companies will just do the powdercoating for a lot less.)

Painting - much cheaper, not as durable.

Don't know if there's any difference in the finish, from an aesthetic point of you.
