Clio OEM+

Looks at the photo you took with your lights on, you are clearly blinding people as even standing up as tall as a being sat in a Range Rover you're still blinding the camera.

HID's in Reflective lamps = no.

And if you want people to keep their opinions to themselves, don't post in a forum.

i been pulled a few time, just for random check, police have said nothing about the light, if they were illegal then i would not pass a MOT, soo they are fine 100% legal.

Just because a car passes its mot does not make it 100% legal.

i have paid £12 for a full membership, so i shall post what i like, and the picture is taken with a camera so its is abit exposed....

Those HID's are horrific. Just get some xenon's off a 1*2 so they look good rather than just completely pikey.

Have a look at some other non sports on here for some inspiration. Loads of good examples.

av seen like androids and foxy both good examples, if i can get a set of 172 headlights cheap them might get them, but other than that they will stay in for now..

OEM+ definately means something VERY differnt to you to what it means to other people.

The idea is that your car is supposed to look like it could have come from the factory like that and its impossible to see where the modifications actually are unless you really know the car well.

So a set of really nasty tacky 17 inch wheels lobbed onto it that look as out of place as a toilet seat on a necklace, is NOT what people would call OEM+

Hopefully when you get the 15s back on it will look less ridiculous.

Regardless, you're still a w**ker for blinding everyone. Rant over. :).

Personally HID's really f**k me off as around here there's quite a few chavs if you go in certain areas and they all have them, makes driving very dangerous when you can't see.

Keep the 17s too

And fit some lexus lights

if you are going to be doing CHAV+ instad of OEM+ then may as well do it properly?

17" are coming like i have stated, got my 15" dynamique in for refurb in white n ordering coilovers in the new year...

Hids in incorrect headlights are f**king annoying, anyone who fits them what's there eyeballs pinned open an exposed to the light that comes off them until there retina's are burnt out!

these are the xenon bulbs that i have

H7R Anti-glare HID bulbs - headlight bulbs purpose built for anti-glare on Xenon HID reflector type headlights.

normal h7 give alot of glare n they should be used with a projector lens.

lol they can be anti whatever, the bottom line is that they glare. No ifs no buts!

LOL @ Anti-glare, the glare comes from the REFLECTION in the REFLECTIVE HEADLAMPS, not the bulbs ;)

The light is reflected everywhere, instead of being directed/beamed/whatever its called that you are MEANT to have in Projectors ;).

I can't believe you've been here since Jul 2011 and we've only just discovered how much of a Spacktard you are. We need to weed them out quicker than this guys, or they'll slowly take over, from the inside out.

Lights aside....will looks miles better when u get the 15's on in white :) what coilovers u gonna buy?

Regardless if you think they are illegal or not, youre clearly one of the little shites that drives around blinding everyone with your stupid headlights and foglights on.

Car Looks alright,

Personally i don't like the H.I.D's though I can see why you got them, extra light, especially considering my headlights (classic mini) are about as much use as a fart in a space suit. I personally don't like tints unless its an OEM Green/Blue like some manufacturers did, Rover did green on the last few mini's and mercedes benz do blue tints.

17's don't suit the car but the 15's in white should be nice, pick up some poorboys wheel sealant will protect them and will make cleaning them a lot easier! I really don't like the idea of cheap coilovers, there is a reason they're cheap, a set of lowering springs from ebiach may be a better choice. :)

thanks noah, when i use to have the saxo i lowered on apex 60mm suspension kit, so fancy trying coilover on the clio, other than budget or a good coilover or suspension kit...

This thread could go on literally forever, HIDs are just the first 20 pages!

Wait till Sam, Chip etc pick up on the receipe for "perfect handling..."

Ironically the Saxo is far closer to being "OEM+" than the Clio.
