Yes, but he's 60 years old and in charge of the institute.

Anybody got the "Broadsider" gun? It shoots cannonballs lol, massively fun blowing people to pieces, cannonballs are rare though

Explosive machine gun. Just decimates all.

"Spray and Pray" a Tommy gun you can buy from a vendor called Cricket outside one of the vaults (81 I think) and "The Deliverer", can't remember how I got that though, use .45 and 10mm rounds though which are quite common to loot

Also a good tip I've found is check your companion for ammo if you're low, Piper seems to always pick up lots of it for me

Tip for you dredz. If you use dogmeat he doesn't count as a companion and you can carry more

I've got the lone wanderer perk and can carry 360 or something daft, more than enough to pick up my 260 purified waters when I go trading for ammo with vendors

Level 68 now. Just had an epic battle.

the BOS are no more. Took out their air ship and then fought off a retaliation at the castle. Highly recommend lots of laser and missile defences

Strength ,endurance ,lockpick and charisma i found good,oh and cannot balls loads in the castle

I've got about 35 cannonballs, haven't even fired them yet, I left it at my base. Up to about 70 odd fusion cores now also.

Things like Strength, Charisma, Intelligence with a little luck. I then upgraded things such as lock picking, hacking and the ability to fast travel when over loaded with junk. It all depends how you want to play the game I guess!

I've moved my base at the weekend to Starlight Drive In so I could make it bigger and better, a lot of work but its getting there. 16 power armour suits now, 80 odd cores.

There's still a build limit though (which is annoying!). I'm just stocking up on resources and building large bases / defences at each settlement now. Finding it quite therapeutic

The gun you get off Danse for the first BoS quest; Righteous Authority. Mod that to have an automatic barrel and tweak the damage and other components and it's absolutely insane. So good.

The Cryolator is also fantastic, but limited ammo.

I've also just modded my Deathclaw Gauntlet so it has another claw on it. 270 base damage now from a melee.

I have to agree mate. I'm roughly 5 days and 10 hours in and just don't want it to end.

Really hope the DLC next year adds more cool stuff to it.

Theres a mod in the power armour torso for this, its not as good as i thoght it would be though.

More missions would be good

And perhaps different weapons / types of armour.

Just finished the Kellogg mission & found a fatman finally.

Was quite 'drunk' whilst playing so died about 43 times trying to get him. In the end just didnt bother negotiating with him and just mini nuked him to the chest.

Got his pistol - any good?
