Yipeee! Picking My 182 Up Tomorrow ’s

It will be like Christmas all over again:D

Got a couple of questions though. Ive printed off the 182 checklist (cheers guys) so i know whats what but the spoiler/splitter bit is worring me a little.

Read about some of you guys not getting one or the other or both!

How do i know im getting the splitter/spoiler, i dont remember seeing any uncupped 182s to compare.

2nd question, how much mileage should i expect on the car when i pick it up?

Finally what happens if i reject the car (god forbid!) for whatever reason because im paying by bankers draft.

This will be my 1st brand new car im buying so i need to be clued up!

Cheers all.

on the mileage qu - both my Clios were on 7 miles when I picked em up. One from Renault Birmingham, and one from Renault Romford.... Spose it could be a bit more, if they took it for petrol etc etc, but I wouldnt want too many more on the clock...

Thanks Louise, i was thinking less than 10 would be ok so
you saying 7 is good enough for me.

Anyone want to try and answer my other questions:oops:

Muchos Gracias:)

With regards to the splitter/spoiler

Take a look http://www.cliosport.net/gallery/?gallery=clio182here

Lee M - has both splitter and the cup spoiler & Simons doesnt.

Less than 10 miles is acceptable but as too rejecting your car - ??? cant help.

Just take your time - dont let them rush you, go over the car with a fine tooth comb - do not sign anything or hand over any money until you are 100% sure everything is how you want it to be

Enjoy

I get mine tomorrow aswell. My brother got his and his passenger side headlamp spray was cracked but he cant be arsed seeing anyone about it. If it was my car i would see them straight away and get a new one fitted. I cant wait to get mine.

In those pics, simons car is quite hard to make out if he has a spoiler:confused: looks the same as Lees car!...or is my eyesight that bad!

the front splitter is obvious as it is an inch black stip running along the bottom of the body painted bumber. The rear spoiler is also easy as the normal spoiler has a clear brake lens whereas the cup spoiler has a red brake lens.

As for miles, mine came with about 70 on, not sure why but it was perfect when i picked it up so i didnt really care that much as i wouldnt have got anywhere!

yes mate, saved me running it in anyway, bet they gave it the full renault run-in treatment, but it really didnt bother me like I thought it would, I just accepted it and after having waited 6 months I was just glad to get my hands on the car which had no marks whatsoever.

Jason, the main ones are:

Check all the bodywork for marks/dents, obviously.

Splitter (if you chose the option) and cup rear spoiler (has a red brake lens)

Mats, sometimes get taken out and sold seperately!! ( the rear one should be an all-in-one which goes across both side connected in the middle) and the fasteners can go missing.

Tyre foam x 2 cannisters in leather pouch

Locking wheel nut key and original nuts

Boot net

thats about it I think.

Enjoy your new motors Jason and Leo.

Im still waiting for mine.
Can you tell me if you ordered from a dealer ? If so , how long ago.

Im just trying to gauge how much longer mine will be.

Not sure if it was a cancellation. Was available at Renault UK via one of their 4 own dealerships rather than a franchise.
