In contrast to the more simulation based WWE SmackDown vs. Raw series, WWE All Stars features arcade-style gameplay along with over-the-top animation and wrestlers bearing a more exaggerated look. The game is expected to be a combination of a fighting game and a wrestling game, with combos playing a major factor in gameplay, both on the ground and mid-air. Some gameplay videos show the wrestlers doing exaggerated moves, such as John Cena's Attitude Adjustment, in which he dives high into the air. The game will feature present and past WWE wrestlers, as well as commentary from Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.

Demo in not-actually-that-bad shocker. Quite a bit of fun to be had, TBH.

Here is the demo thread on the offical All Stars messageboard. It's getting really good praise, considering it's a "two wrestler" demo only (Rey and Warrior).

Don't think I'll be buying the full game, mind, but it was pretty good fun. Finishing move seems to KO the opponent, so once that's hit, it's game over and pin. Very OTT, of course, but that's what it's aiming for.

Yeah it's on PS3.

Remember though, it's not a simulation of wrestling. It is primarily a beat 'em up with a wrestling theme. It won't win awards but it's great to just pick up and play once you've mastered the controls

It's by THQ. It plays a bit like No Mercy and WCW/NWO Revenge on the N64. Good times.
