Its up to you really, personally the stuff scares me. Ive used stop leak on a cooling system before on a megane to good effect. Its sill leak free now 2 years on, but still i don't like the stuff even if it works.

yeh when i bought my car somebody had put some rad weld in, it did its job but i soon flushed it out and put a new rad in, didnt like the idea of the stuff in my system.

The wynns stuff though reads as though it will soften up the seals and then i could flush the oil and put new stuff in? or is it really not that simple?

I don't find in that good truth of it is if it needs new stem seals then no magic liquid will cure it ... I wouldn't worry if its just the valve stem seals all the extra oil is doing is lubing the valves and being burnt off... It's a pain on a road car but I'm sure some race cars don't use stem seals to keep the valves lubricated .... I wouldn't put any additive s**t in my oil if its cheaper just do an oil change to 10w40 as its cheaper to buy 5l of that than 5w40 ...
