  2014 renault clio rs
Hi im new to the forum. I currently have a 2014 clio rs200 and its currently having the classic check anti-pollution and gearbox lights so I’m pretty sure it needs the tcu change. But I wanted thoughts on whether it’s worth it since the car is currently at 210,000kms needing its service. So I’m in a dilemma on if it’s worth replacing the tcu and whether the car will still last. I don’t particularly want to spend 3k ish for something that will only last a year sooooo I wanted thoughts.

Is it worth spending the extra for the repair or will the car not last regardless. (It’s been running on those checks for a while, like 5000kms+, and the cats smell non existent unless thats just the tcu giving the car the wrong petrol mixture)

Could be a dying battery? its defo worth getting a proper diag done.

should be a lot cheaper than 3k for the tcu too, can fit it in less than an hour.

If the rest of the car is going strong I don't see why not?
