does anybody use it?

the new head unit i am looking at has it and was just wondering how many albums can you get on 1 cd and how easy is it to do?

Yeah they are great, quite a bit smaller than MP3 aswell, they work by cutting out all the sound that humans cant hear, they probably average at about 2-3 MB with 700MB on a CD your looking at over 200 songs on a CD which is more than enough for anyone
