Took my car in to renault today - bad whinning noise coming from the alternator - anyway renault agreed and rung me to advise they where going to swap the alternator for a new one.
They then rang me back to say they had stripped my car down and did not have a new one in stock! new one arriving tomorrow.
I went down to renault this afternoon to pick up a courtesy car so at least i can get around - saw my car in the car park and shat myself - front bumper, grilles, headlight, engine cover all missing! thought it would be an easy job to change an alternator but obviously not - half my car has gone!!!!
I am picking it up tomorrow but shitting it now as to what wont work and what does not fit correctly.
And to top it all they gave me a diesel Modus!!!
