Where to find the colour code

As above got a mrk 1 172 and just had a quick look and cant find it. Anyone know where to find chassis plate so i can get the colour code? (Should have put my glasses on!

Ring Reno, and give them ur Reg number, they will then look on their magic computer and tell you the paint code....well they will if its on record, lol

Thats been there for as long as I can remember.

Its silver on a W (2000) plate!
Is that the proper colour codes as above? Am getting the front bumper painted due to stone chips tonight so i really need the code! Please
