Wheels have gone matt, lacquer?

  Z4
You know when you wash your car and there's something that niggles you? Well here's mine...wheels!

They've gone matt. I'm pretty sure when they were originally done they were powder coated gloss white, but they've certainly lost the glossiness and I'm sure no wheel sealant will bring that back.

What are my options? Could I lacquer them? Or would I need to get them painted etc first?

Here's said car (bit of a crap photo to show what I mean but it's too cold for photos)

Powder coating isnt as UV resistant, black soon becomes grey and they loose there shine. Some wheel refurb places laquer the powercoat afterwards to get a better shine, but this defeats the purpose of a durable finish lol..........Its the devils coating........

Try some iron x first to remove any stuck on brake dust, then use some AG super resin polish, they'll no doubt need a few coats but will give them a good shine eventually then use some sealent after. Dont use acid wheel cleaners on there as that will mess up the finish

Yeah cheers, already had a little iron x / SRP session but it didn't bring them up as good as I'd hoped!
