Clio RS200 2009
Hi everybody, I recently bought a 2009 RS 200 which I am turning in to a fast road/track day car.
The brakes were shot so that is the first thing to have been done but now I am thinking about the best wheel and tyre combination.
It is currently running standard 215/45R17's which I want to change for lighter alloys and stickier tyres.
I want the car to still perform on the road in wet conditions so I have ruled out 888's but I am happy to be corrected if people have experience of them.
Is it worth considering a smaller wheel and a higher profile tyre as performance tyres tend to have a stiffer side wall?
Should I reduce the width from 215?
Look forward to the expert advice from all of you out there!
