Update : after scounting around the net this carb looks identical to the carb from an xr2i ( 28/32 tldm)

Might see if a bolt on for an xr2i will fit

I would of though it would be an xr2 carb not one for an xr2i as they are injection be carefull you dont buy an efi induction kit, you need a bolton type filter, see what comes up on ebay. To be honest tho i wouldnt bother with that type of filter as it will be sucking in alot of hot air from the engine. You would be better getting it jetted properly for your engine sinceit was origonaly setup for a 1.6 ford lump not a 1.4 diet engine?

the mk2 xr2i fiesta was a carb and i know where i can get the bolt on filter for it, the car is pretty quick as is but you can tell the standard air box is choking it.

I think i know a garage that will be able to tune it up for me so i will go and speak to them at some point, i also have some fairly large aluminium duction to get a cold air feed up to the filter... and the advantage with the k and n is that it wioll sound very nice :D
