What a RIP off

  CLIOpatra, L22EE W™
OK, I need my locking nuts drilled out because I don't have the locking nut key. Basically the guy who I bought the Clio from in March, didn't supply me with the locking nut key. He told me to get in contact with Reno, and they would sort it out.

I just phoned em and asked how much would a new key cost. They told me £20, but will take a few weeks for delivery because it needs to be ordered, and delivered from Italy. So I asked how much would it cost to drill the old locking nuts out and put a new set in. Ready for this?

2 hours labour = £130 + VAT, plus £30 for new locking nuts + VAT

Is there a cheaper way around this, instead of waiting weeks for the new key to be delivered?

As stated hammer a socket over them or get a drill and some good bits an afternoons work will see you drill them out just use a small bit and keep getting bigger but tbh a socket should do the job - I had to drill out some McGard ones and they take some shifting
