warranty question

just a quick question, my 02 clio has had many problems such as needing two new ball joints and a new clutch. I have noticed since trying to sell it that it has problems changing from 2nd to 3rd when being driven hard, usually it is fine but if its being driven properly there is a grinding as it goes in almost as if the clutch isnt quite depressed far enough. Speaking to a mechanic he thinks the syncromech (sp?) may be wrong/broken. My question is will renault do anything about this under warranty as they have been 100% unhelpful fixing any of the above listed problems. As i said earlier its a 2002 car and has covered 40k so a bit above average miles but not enough i wouldnt have thought to warrant the ammount of problems this had had. Any help would be much appreciated, if not any ideas how much this will set me back further to get sorted?

my clio has that problem to, but mien is out if warranty, it seems to do it more when the engine is cold, i had my new clutch about 2 months now and the prob is getting worse

You should be able to get the box repaired or have an exchange box fitted under warranty.. If the dealer is being an Arse then give Renault cust services a call..
