V6 rear brakes

I noticed that i get a squeking whilst driving slowly coming from the rear brakes so it seems.

Its much more noticable when the brakes get hot.

I know metals expand whilst hot but does anyone elses brakes squek whilst the wheels are turning?

It goes away when i press the brake pedal down.

Citroen DS calipers on the rear - your probably just driving to quick and they want to go home to the land of the uppy downy suspension.

Blast the pads with an airline - if they still squeek get new ones - theyre about 10 pence from citroen!!

Ive had this on mine as well!

I noticed after cleaning the car (with my jet washer) the noise goes, but once ive covered a couple of hundred miles it would soon return, I put it down to build up of brake dust!!!

If anything its an insentive to keep your car clean

Standard with V6 brakes my dealer assures me. Hard material in the pads.

As for you though steveV6......my V6 is most probably the cleanest around,i dont hardly drive it to get it dirty
