V5 reg form

Anyone every ordered a replacement? if so how long did it take?

in the frustrating position of my new 182 is ready for collection but cant do the swap till my V5 turns up from the DVLA.

usually 2 weeks, but could be more!

Will the garage not let you pick up the car till you have your V5?

Am I gonna need a new one for when I collect my car too?

Nooooooooooo dont say 2 weeks. you could have lied to make me feel better



had a big argument with the garage, they have copies of my passport, utility bills drivers licence etc.. etc.. several thousand pounds of my money and (if they took it) 9 grands worth of my car.

just will not take it without V5. i can see their point but you have to try right. most frustrating thing in the world to see your new car and not be able to take it.

Youre part exchanging and they want the V5 for the car your part exchanging.

You had me worried then

sorry westy should have been clearer. when you get you new car youll get the V5 within a couple of weeks.



been on the phone to DVLA, as i paid for the replacement over the phone it should be here within 2 - 5 working days. guess im looking at the end of the week. not as bad a spose

Ive got 5 weeks to wait till i get my 182 and thats bad enough. I would be in tears if I went to collect it and I couldnt. unlucky fella.

My hubby bought a new car last week and he hasnt got a V5 - it will arrive in the post sometime!

girl racer, its the V5 for my mazda that im trading in.

2-5 working days sounds good! When I did a cherished reg transfer recently it took 6 weeks!!

I didnt see any mention of a Mazda so assumed you meant that you didnt have the V5 for the 182!!
