urgent help needed

hey all, we need some urgent help in solving a problem with my dads megane. the other day the engine management light came on he took it to the garage and it was read as a cam belt sensor fault its booked into the garage tomorrow to be fixed but its been sat on the drive because yesterday it kept stalling when idling now we walked past it on the drive and it was making loud clicking noises. only the passenger door will open it wont lock the alarm keeps going of and all the dials are flicking about. the car is totally dead and wont start!!!:S

does anyone know wha this could be or how we could maybe get it started to get it to the garage!!

please help

I would hazard a guess that it needs a new battery to start.

would a flat battery be the cause of all the mentioned problems or just the not starting bit?

What megane is it? If its a megane 2, it has got handsfree yeah?
