Upper Gearbox Mount - these shouldn't be this loose!?

Following on from this thread: p://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?537711-Creak-under-accel-deccel-in-1st-and-2nd! about me trying to track down a creak that appears to have developed under gentle acceleration and lift off I thought i'd whip my battery out to check the state of the upper gearbox mount.

Turns out that the two securing bolts were VERY loose

Surely these should be tight with no play at all!?

so tightening the bolts won't fix it?.. the gearbox mount's definately shagged?

just tighten them back up

Is it common for them to come loose?

yeah i've seen it a few times, check the bolts aren't damaged as that mount will have been moving about "cutting" into the bolts

Just checked and the threads are fine lucky i caught it before any damage was done!
