mmm....quite a bit! they said since i had been with them for so long, 14 years, and had what they called a lot of credit on my account they would do a deal no other network would match, said firstly any phone other than iphone, would do 500 mins and unlimited texts for £20 so asked for unlimited data as wel so £27.50 so finally can control my phone bill! which was £114 this month!

I had my first contract renewal this month as I'd been on payg until a year ago. I'm with O2. They gave me:

400 mins + 500 texts + any free phone (I chose Nokia N81) for £20/month

As soon as the N81 arrived in the post I sold it on eBay for £250. Which means as long as I don't go over my free monthly usage allowance, I have a free mobile phone contract for the next 12 months. Happy days!

Orange is best for me. Unlimited texts and magic number saves me a fortune!

I phoned Orange today, ive got 2 months left on contract. they old me that for the n95 i'd have to pay £200! i said i could get it free else where and they said phone next month and i "might" get a discount.

Is that normal tactics?
