Tyres?

Anybody give me some ideas on which tyres to buy, the ones which came on the car are awful (Avons).

I know there is a poll on tyres but advice would be much appreciated, price is no object.

the tyre poll is more for 16" tyres isnt it?

I've always used Michelins myself, had 14" pilot exaltos on my 205, they do a 15" too i think.

Aye blackcircles list a Pilot Exalto PE2 in 195/5015 at £48 a corner

Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2's have just gone on mine, still not too sure about them. They don't feel as good as the Pilot SX's (original tyres on mk1 172 alloys) but then I havent done many mines on them yet.

They are on mytyres.co.uk for £47.70 iirc (195/50 R15)

but I got them cheaper and paid £30 for my mate to fit them

Well I've just been out tonight in the pissing rain and I'm very impressed!

The grip sooo much better than my old tyres, these pics might explain why though!

Going from driving on the wear line!!

To these lovely black circles with huge deep water dispersing groves!!
