Tuner List CD error

Howdy.

The Tuner List head unit in my recently bought 172 Cup has an odd quirk in that it'll play about one CD/for about 30min and will then beep, say 'error CD' and spit it out. It then refuses to play at all. Previous owner denied all knowledge of it ever happening before (hmmm :nono but I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this.

And if there's anyone with a Tuner List head unit they're looking to move on I might well pick it up off you.

Having a similar problem with mine (recently bought a 172 cup also), but mine doesnt throw the cd out, just stops playing then wont do anything and every time I press a button it just bleeps, sorry aint got a solution as of yet think im gunna have to get another cd player.

Yup similar problem in mine - also a 172 Cup except it doesn't spit it out as well.

Interesting, seemingly a common problem on Cups then! Mine also does that thing where it just stops playing and beeps when you press buttons. Looks like I may have to invest in a new head unit, although I'd prefer the neater look of the OE unit. Useless if it doesn't work though!

I bought a new h/u today and does exactly the same bloody thing, looks as if mines an electrical fault
