My girlfriend has a 1999 clio elise 1.4 8 valve and has recently had some problems starting it. She has just had the cam belt changed and since then, sometimes the car fires first turn of the key, other times it may take 5 or 6 attempts. It seems the starter is turning but the engine just wont fire. We have changed the plugs but to no avail. Any suggestions?
