TPS fault code severe problems

ive had two codes come up one for egr valve which i know to be a common problem with diesels,but it came up with tps?/throltle sensor hight input code. now when im drivin for most of the time its normal then for short boost the engine will not rev over 2.5k for a couple of seconds then very slowly build up revs as if the handbrake is on, its gettin on my nerves quite a bit now. any ideas?

Sounds like classic EGR valve blocked. I made a guide over on rsc on cleaning them out.
