Toxic Fume Warning Light

Had this warning light come on last night.

Haven't noticed any change in the engine & the engine is not in limp home mode ( it will rev above 3/4k )

Is this likely just to mean one of the sensors is faulty - or is it likely to be something more serious?

Also should I avoid driving the car until I can get it to a dealer to get it fixed?

Might just be a damp lambda mate. Mine did this a couple of weeks ago when I drenched the engine. T'is fine now.

disconnect the battery for more than half an hour.

then try it again.

note - make sure you have your radio code!

yeah, this light will clear, i had a damaged lambda plug, fixed it, but the light stayed on, the light cleared within a week

no need to worry imo

Cheers for the replies.
was still on, so I did the dashboard diagnostics which showed a 'h' fault - according to edde's post is an oil level sensor fault. Anyway I cleared that and the light went out!
