Thinking of trading in X reg 1.6 16V RSI for w Reg 172..

Hi all,

I currently own a 1.6 16V RSI Clio on a 2000 X Reg with 75K on the clock for the last 6 months, and feel it isn't fast enough. Because I like the drive of the clio, I have decided to look to swap it in for a Mk1 172 (Due to budget and M.O.T on RSI is fast approaching).
I have seen a Mk1 172 with 51K on the clock in Silver for £4895 on a W reg (2000) plate.

Questions are:

Has anyone else done this?

Should I see a marked improvement in speed and performance over the RSI?
