tail lights flickering

just a quick question my dads clio 1.2 failed its mot today on a few things but 1 of them is the rear lights being when the indicators are on the tail lights underneath them flicker i have changed the bulb holders & its still the same any ideas anyone please?

The box the bulbs go into has corroded most likely, or the connectors.

Unscrew the rear lights, unplug the lights from the connector, then clean the metal prongs in the connectors box using some sandpaper. I had to do this to mine when braking the left indicator would go on constant..

Bad earth had it on a clio at work today,

Replaced the bulb holder box sorted job done
