Susp parts - missing

Just a quick question.

I've bought some std suspension off a member on here and I didn't realise until today when I came to put the spring on the shock but theres some parts missing...

If you look at this pic

Parts 3 and 4 from the left are missing.

What are these parts and where can I get them from?

from renault.

part 3 is simply a spacer which hooks inside part 4, which is the seal/dust cover for the bearing.

2 secs and i'll try and get the part numbers

And apart from the spring and shock that is everything I need?

Yea I know its your pic, is the only one I could find of the seperate parts and i'm too lazy to take pics of the ones I already have.

Does the big nut go onto the thread to lock the pressure down on the spring and the small nut go on top of the top rubber under the bonnet?

prices are 3 years old so will be different now.

small nut, part "2" sits at the top of the stack holding the parts together, then the top cap goes under the bonnet holding it all onto the car.

looks like this when bolted together, then part "1" holds it to the car under the bonnet

So where does the bigger nut go? That goes under the bonnet and bolts down to the rubber mount in there?

£34 for that rubber mount, jesus, i need 2 of them as well. Might ask neil at the renault breakers if he can source them in his endless mess of parts.

Yup the upper-mount is worth replacing.

There not that expensive from Renault and they do wear.


I got new ones from Renault when i came to install my coilovers.
