sunroof -electric to manual-

Hi all,

Ive been having probs with the elecy sunroof for a while now and i thought sod it maybe i can make it a manual one....but is it possible??????

The car in question is a phs1 mk3 clio and im thinking that if renault made clios with both types of sunroof how hard is it ti convery what i have to a manual type?????

I already have the motor out so am i right in thinking all i need is the right plastic roof part and a handle???

Any help appriciated.

Completely different mechanism for them iirc mate :S

The electric one rolls back so isn't fixed to the front of the car.

The manual ones are hinged to the front of the car, and tilt upwards at the back to open.

Mk1... easy to convert.. just make sure you get all the bits from the manual
