Strange noise in car

Hi, i have a noise from the interior light area of the car, on further inspection there is a strange little motor with a blue thing like a sensor. Does anyone know what its for??? thanks Fraz

Its the climate control sensor, they all make a buzz, if you strip the fan bit apart and clean the mass of dust and dirt out and re oil it it will reduce the noise massively,

Or you can buy a new one.
