steering wheel problem

has anyone had a problem with the soft grips on the steering wheel i recently had mine split and started breaking up made worse by pulling at it
i now don't have any side grip on the wheel.

Yep, common for the thumb grips to start wearing away.

Only way to fix it is to get a new steering wheel or get it retrimmed.
