Steam from under the bonnet

Today driving to work it was really foggy and damp. I was sitting in a load of traffic and i notice a lot of steam coming out of my bonnets vent, which is toward the front of the bonnet. I kept coming out for about 10 seconds then just went. The oil temp guage was reading normal however.

It was like the steam you get out of an exhaust on a cold morning (like today lol).

Anyone know what it could have been?

Many thanks in advance.
