having a few probs finding anyone who will give me a 30mm drop on springs for my 182. i have been told this is because for some strange reason renault have reffered to the torsion bar for the rear of the 182, from the all round springs on the 172. could anyone plz post any info that will help my needy cause? many thanx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats b****cks, the 182 is the same as the 172 in the respect it has 4 springs and no torsion bar on the rear.
ANY spring kit listed for 172 will fit the 182, however any coilover kit or damper + spring kit has to be 182 specific as the hub carriers are different and the bottom of the front struts has to be for 182.
I'd stick to H&R, Eibach or Apex when going for springs. Apex giving the biggest drop at 40mm but being firmer than the H&R's/ Eibachs which drop 15 to 30ish mm depending on which kit you choose.
